For vedika and my temper...

Vedika gave me a tough time today....she ddnt eat anything the whole day, kept crying and clinging and finally in the afternoon i lost my temper and yelled on her ...the poor girl ...i realized by evening that she was probably down with some bug as she kept slapping her tummy and pooed 4-5 times...i cannot describe in words how guilty i felt !! here is to vedika and my temper....

I know my love for you
cannot be measured in spoons
or weighed on the kitchen-scale
But sometimes
The bull charges
And cracks appear in the wall...
After the storm has passed
I see you still running to me
With the same innocence
And then I know
That love stronger then mine exists...
The one you have for me !

To HK

I received my permanent HK ID card today...its been 7 long years since I started off here..unbelievable ! I still remember the first day I landed here as a summer intern...literally chanting hanuman chalisa as HK was struck with SARS then !! But the stay here has outlived my fears...and I suppose I do have some sense of belonging now...heres to HK

The city speaks..

A million faces blend to form my skyline,
Some call me fast-paced, even greedy-
A shadow at best...
